Introduce yourself!
Hi I am Sarah, I’m actually from Zurich and started the first semester of my CS master here at ETH. I already did my bachelors here at ETH and am now excited to work on compilers <3 as well as machine learning tools applied in healthcare during my masters.

Besides studying, one can find you...
...at cafés in zurich or at a concert. I love going to new cafes, bars and exploring new foods places aorund Zurich. Besides that one of my life goals is to go to as many concerts as possible. During winter session you will also definitely find my on the slopes with my snowboard and in late summer I most likely somewhere, away from Zurich, surfing :)

How long have you been at CSNOW?
I have been at CSNOW since 2024.

What do you like about working at CSNOW?
 I love our team and mission at CSNOW—everyone is super chill and fun, and together we manage to organize cool events. I’m motivated by the opportunity to tackle a broader issue in Computer Science and I really want to show girls that they can be successful and comfortable in tech.

What is your favourite song or movie and why?
Favourite song is a hard one because there are so many amazing songs and honestly what would the world be without music. It really depends on my mood but generally I love electro and house music as well as some chill jazz. However, sometimes Taylor just hits the spot (yes, sue me haha). Currently I am listitng to „the dress“, a cover by Olivia Dean, as well as „The Space In Between“ by Jan Blomqvist. My favourite movie is „pretty woman“, its just an amazing movie.
